Septilin
®
(DROPS, SYRUP, TABLET)
Builds the body’s own defense mechanism
Septilin, a phytopharmaceutical
formulation, is recommended for
the treatment and management
of various infections, and to
prevent their recurrence. Septilin’s
immunomodulatory action potentiates
the immune responses of the body.
Septilin also reduces inflammation
and allergy, and corrects the
underlying pathological features
associated with recurrent infections.
Septilin is a valuable adjuvant in
infection management as it builds the
body’s own defense mechanism. When
co-prescribed with antibiotics, Septilin
ensures faster recovery and prevents
recurrence. Septilin provides excellent
short- and long-term safety.

Clinical Pharmacology
Septilin has immunomodulatory,
antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and
antimicrobial actions.
Septilin possesses immunomodulatory
and anti-inflammatory properties,
which potentiate the nonspecific
immune responses of the body.
Septilin decreases eosinophil and
IgE levels, and thus alleviates allergy.
Septilin stimulates phagocytosis by
macrophage activation, increases
the polymorphonuclear cells, and
helps overcome infection. Septilin
builds up resistance to infection and
helps prevent reinfection. Septilin
augments granulocyte-macrophage
differentiation, natural killer cell
activity, and antibody-dependent
cytotoxicity. Septilin’s stimulatory
effect on the humoral immunity
increases the antibody-forming cells,
thereby enhancing the secretion of
antibodies into circulation. Septilin
also augments the synthesis of
erythropoietic and granulopoietic
precursor cells, stab cells, and primary
myelocytes.
