Clinical Pharmacology Himplasia possesses both 5a-reductase enzyme inhibitory and a-adrenoceptor antagonistic actions. In addition, Himplasia has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, antimicrobial, and antihypertensive actions. Himplasia relieves both the obstructive and irritative symptoms of BPH. Multicentric clinical trials have documented reduction in AUA symptom score, and improvement in uroflowmetric, ultrasonographic, and clinical parameters in patients with BPH. Himplasia reduces prostate weight, improves urinary flow while reducing post-void residual urine volume (PVRV), and treats and prevents the UTI associated with BPH. Indication BPH Dosage 1 tablet twice daily. The treatment for BPH requires long-term administration of Himplasia.
