Clinical Pharmacology Himcospaz has antispasmodic, pain-relieving, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant actions. Himcospaz has a direct relaxing effect on smooth muscles and inhibits the contractions induced by several spasmogens (such as acetylcholine and histamine). While relieving nonspecific abdominal colic, Himcospaz improves digestion and controls diarrhea. Himcospaz provides relief from menstrual cramps and the pain before menstruation.
