Clinical Pharmacology Himcocid has potent cytoprotective and ulcer-healing, antioxidant, antacid, and antiflatulent actions. The synergistic effect of Himcocid’s constituents produces neutralization of gastric acid and offers relief from the burning pain of hyperacidity. Himcocid relieves gaseous distension, bilious symptoms, and other dyspeptic symptoms of NUD. Indications For symptomatic management of: • Acid peptic disease (APD) • Non-ulcer dyspepsia (NUD) • Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) • Heartburn • NSAID-induced gastritis Dosage 1 to 2 teaspoonsful (5 to 10 mL) after meals.
