Antibacterial action: Foeniculum vulgare, Rosa damascena, Elettaria cardamomum, Curcuma longa, Lawsonia inermis, Azadirachta indica, Tagetes erecta, Boerhaavia diffusa, and Cedrus deodara have potent antibacterial action against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria responsible for female reproductive tract infections. Triphala possesses antimicrobial property against bacterial isolates like Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Shigella sonnei, Shigella flexneri, and Staphylococcus aureus. 2.
