The styptic and astringent properties of Styplon, combined with the anti-inflammatory and demulcent actions, facilitate hemostasis and help in the effective management of bleeding. Styplon renormalizes the process of blood coagulation. Styplon helps in prothrombin formation and arrests bleeding. Styplon improves the tone and strength of blood capillaries, and causes capillary vasoconstriction. Pre-surgical use of Styplon reduces post-surgical blood loss.
