When co-prescribed with antibiotics, Septilin ensures faster recovery and prevents recurrence. Septilin is a valuable adjuvant in infection management and provides excellent short-term and long-term safety. Composition Each 5 mL of Septilin syrup contains: Pdr. Septilin modulates the inflammatory response during infections. Septilin reduces excessive production of the proinflammatory cytokines interleukin (IL)-6, IL-8, and tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α, which are responsible for hyperinflammation and cellular/tissue damage. Septilin suppresses inflammation through downregulation of the PDE4B gene, a key regulator in the process of hyperinflammation. Septilin decreases eosinophil and IgE levels, and thus, alleviates allergy-like symptoms. Septilin augments the host response by enhancing phagocytosis through macrophage activation, increasing the polymorphonuclear cell level, promoting antibody production, and helping overcome infection. Septilin builds resistance to infection and helps manage chronic, recurrent infections. Septilin augments granulocyte–macrophage differentiation, natural killer cell activity, and antibody-dependent cytotoxicity. Septilin also augments the synthesis of erythropoietic and granulopoietic precursor cells.
