Althea moisturizes the skin, restores skin hydration, replenishes critical skin lipids, supports the integrity of the natural skin barrier, and soothes dry, inflamed and itchy skin. Althea improves the appearance of the skin and promotes softer, healthier-looking skin. Althea is safe and dermatologically tested. The moisturizing action of Althea helps retain moisture and soften the dry, scaly skin in xerosis. The antiinflammatory and immunomodulatory properties of Althea overcome cutaneous inflammation and soothe the dry, sore and itchy skin, thus improving the quality of life. The antimicrobial properties of Althea inhibit the colonizing of microorganisms and prevent secondary bacterial infections of the compromised skin.
