IDF is an umbrella organization of more than 240 national diabetes associations in 160 nations and territories. The federation’s initiatives aim to influence policies, promote public awareness, encourage health improvement, contribute to the exchange of high-quality information regarding diabetes, and educate people with diabetes and health care providers. The mission of IDF is to enhance the lives of diabetic patients and prevent diabetes in those who are at risk.
