Cystone forte tablet possesses diuretic action and flushes small stones from the urinary tract. The pH-renormalizing action of Cystone forte tablet brings about a cooling effect on the urinary system and relieves burning micturition. Cystone forte tablet exerts antimicrobial action against the common urinary pathogens responsible for recurrent UTIs. Cystone forte tablet prevents the adhesion of Escherichia coli to the uroepithelium, which helps reduce the adhesion of E coli to the cells lining the urinary tract and promote its expulsion along with the natural flow of urine. Clinical Pharmacology The antilithiatic action of Cystone forte tablet prevents the deposition, accumulation, and supersaturation of calculogenic chemicals in the urine. Cystone forte tablet controls oxamide absorption from the intestine, corrects the crystalloid–colloid imbalance, and inhibits calculogenesis by reducing the levels of stone-forming substances such as oxalic acid and calcium hydroxyproline. The lithotriptic action of Cystone forte tablet helps in the dissolution of the calculi.
