However, we believe that pregnant women should be referred to a multispecialty center in early stages for better management of neonates by an experienced multidisciplinary team. It is worth highlighting the surgical technique that can give good results—the initial evaluation allows for damage control with the help of ostomies and subsequent management, including complementary imaging studies. This surgical method could be an option for premature neonates, highly unstable neonates, neonates with severe adherence syndrome, or neonates with unclear intestinal viability. References 1.
