50 5. Expressed breast milk (EBM) When you express milk, you take the milk out of your breast for your baby. Premature babies require breast milk but may not be able to suckle and have an adequate amount of feed. In such cases, the mothers can express their breast milk and store it for the baby’s needs. When mothers start expressing breast milk as soon as possible, it helps them maintain a good milk supply. 6. What are the different ways of expressing breast milk?
